READ ME FIRST

If you have been practicing Bikram Yoga regularly before your pregnancy then you may continue to practice during your pregnancy. Some women have continued to practice right up until delivery.

If you’ve never done Bikram Yoga then we don’t recommend starting while pregnant. After delivery you may begin as soon as you feel ready to exercise (get permission from your doctor or midwife).

The high heat should not pose any risk to you but if it makes you feel uncomfortable we recommend setting up near one of the fans and resting as often as you like.

These pages do not include detailed instructions for the postures shown. This guide is meant primarily to show how we modify our series to accommodate pregnancy. One of our instructors will work with you to learn when and how to incorporate these modifications into your practice.
